I got a lot of writing done today, and adulting. Treated myself to a Bavarian cream paczki and split an apple one with Mellon.

Speaking of sweets, I picked up the stuff to make Mellon’s Valentine’s Day treats. I got semi-sweet chocolate, peanut butter chips, and two kinds of peanuts: honey roasted and regular roasted/salted. I’m going to make little peanut clusters for him for the holiday. Homemade treats mean more to him, so I’m happy to do it.

I’m really enjoying writing the shorter pieces. I’ve got less than 2,000 total words so far, but it hasn’t even been a week. And with my goal being at least 100 words a day, I’m slowly getting into the habit of writing daily; though not as much as during NaNoWriMo.

I took care of some of the car stuff today. I’ve an appointment on the ninth to get Peggy’s repair estimates done. I’m so tired of having my rear bumper in my back seat/trunk. My poor car.

We had pizza for dinner tonight. Tomorrow is sausage and cabbage soup. I’m looking forward to it.

I’m going to go crochet or read or something before bed.

Take your meds, folks.
