3 Types of Cheese Purchased at The Cheese Chalet
1 Really Bad Pain Day
Lician, Brian, and I went to Ehelnbach’s Cheese Chalet today and it was amazing! I mean, I was absolutely not fond of the ‘cheese fudge’. Cheese and milk chocolate is not a flavor combination that I enjoy. But! We did get an amazing applewood smoked butterkase cheese, a habanero jack cheese, and another that I can’t remember right now.
We actually did a whole lot today. Other than the cheese chalet, I mean. We went to Goodwill and found both a pasta pot and a Pyrex dish! Then we hit up Global Market for some cooking supplies and snacks, Sally’s to pick up Sharky’s hair color, and finally to the local witchy store called Cosmic Delights.
I got a few little $1.00 boxes of incense, a book called Bending the Binary: Polarity Magic in a Nonbinary World by Deborah Lipp. I will let y’all know what I think when I finish it. Right now, I’m trying to finish reading The Martian by Andy Weir before the library wants it back.
For some reason, my left hip has been aching! It’s been about a week and it’s like… annoying. Feels like both muscle pain on the outside and sometimes a clicking sort of feeling on the ‘inside’ of the joint? I’ve tried stretches, ice, heat, NSAIDS, and all that jazz. My hip is tender to the touch and can’t always support my weight without it hurting pretty badly. I’ve been keeping track of symptoms on my phone’s notes application to tell my new doctor when my appointment finally arrives in freaking AUGUST. But yeah; really affecting my functionality and ability to get down the sixteen steps to our so-called first floor apartment.
Anyway, it’s almost midnight here in the central time zone. I’m going to appease the Duolingo owl overlord and try to get some sleep.
