Of Altars and A Lot of Yarn

14,668 Days Alive

2,121 Days Straight on Duolingo

Lucian and I spent a good two and a half hours this evening going through the massive amount of acrylic yarn that I have acquired over the years. I’m talking stuff from before my marriage to Stephanie in 2017.

I mean, it is kind of absolutely bonkers how much yarn I own. I actually don’t know how many projects I currently have in the works unless I sit down, think, and list them all out. There’s a bunch of blankets that I am making, I know of at least two shells that I have on the hooks, one for my godfather‘s wife, Marie, and one for Chelé that I still can’t seem to locate in the packed stuff. I know that I have the Doctor Who scarf for Aunt Donna and the shawl for J in my knitting projects.

And then, there is the blanket for DW, the griddle stitch, inverse squares, blankets that are for J and for uncle Mark. I also have the round ripple I am working on for Bob and his family.

Genuinely, I’m trying to think of what other projects I have in the works. Oh! I do have that one baby blanket for Stylish and MK. I need to make that as quickly as possible because the individual that is having the child is seven months pregnant. I love that. I got the yarn for that blanket on clearance from Michael’s.

We have the windows open this evening because it’s gonna get down to like 60 or something like that and poor Spockers is a little chilly. He has currently climbed under the blankets, over my legs, and curled up behind my knees. I am a side sleeper so it’s super cute that I have my own little kitty-shaped space heater this evening.

I’ve gotten over 2000 days straight on Duolingo, which is pretty damn cool. I should pick up some books on Spanish sometime so I can get a more academic knowledge base going as well. Maybe after I finish my degree online

I am hoping that tomorrow goes well. I have work until noon, and then I am leaving early. Therapy reasons as well as a few others. I really hope that this week brings about positive changes. The moon goes closer to fall. We’re at a new moon right now, so everything is sort of been holding pattern.

I do love that I was able to finish building and preparing my altar for my bedroom. I really do need to look up a good compass app or something to figure out the orientation for the altar and my bed and all that because I don’t know which direction is north especially when I’m indoors. Anyway, I should probably head to sleep pretty soon as it’s almost one am.

Take your meds, folks.
