Well. Today was both awesome and absolutely awful. Awesome stuff first, then my bitching. Here we go!
I got to attend another plan of attack meeting this morning for the remote position I’m part of. I am loving being able to help support Dalia as she grows her business. We did get to the thrift store to pick up our furniture today, thanks to the local place giving us a whole bunch of things. We also bought an awesome storage bench, a small storage ottoman, a pair of side tables, and a desk for Lucian!
Getting all that crap into the UHaul truck we rented, to the apartment, and then down the stairs? I am a solid 8.75 on the pain scale and I am maxed out on pain meds, taken a full ten mgs of my Cyclobenzaprine script, and have a heating pad on my left hip.
My stupid left hip? It full on gave out on me while we were moving some of the furniture. I can only take small steps without the help of a walk aid, like the cane I had only recently purchased “just in case”, and even then it hurts like a motherfucker. My hip then gave out four times in the next hour as I was trying to slow, gently help get the damn stuff downstairs and into the apartment. I was worried I was going to turn wrong and go down face-first in the shower. It sucks. My doctor previously advised that bursitis is just a “take it easy and it’ll get better” sort of ailment. I’m going to give them a call Monday to see what I should do.
Also, I am still no closer to picking a name for my LLC though. I just want it to click correctly in my head. I will figure it out, eventually. I wasn’t going to file the paperwork until Wednesday to help with the future annual reports.
Anyway, I am in pain and there’s nothing I can do about it.
Take your meds, folks.
