I worked more on Grandma Gator’s blanket today. Not much as I was and still am fried from work. I made dinner tonight, though. We had a curry made with vegetarian chicken from Morningstar Farms. It was good.
I’m still trying to get through The Mermaid’s Daughter. I’m a quarter of the way in and M struggling to keep reading. It keeps jumping, in first person, between multiple characters and while I am curious as to how it ends, I won’t lose sleep to try and finish it. It’s just not as engaging as one might hope.
Today was an interesting day at work. Tomorrow promises to be… I want to say “worse”, but what I mean is “more complicated”.
Anyway, mentally I’m hella depressed. I’m trying to keep my head above the metaphoric water and I just don’t feel as though I am successful in doing so. But all I can do is my best. And that’s the best I can do.
Reffie’s Christmachanukwanzukabirthdasolstinewyearmas gift finally arrived. The other thing I ordered is lost in the ether somewhere, thanks COVID. Maybe it will show up soon. I hope to see her this weekend to give her the gift! No spoilers on what it is, though!
