I’m up visiting J and Bill6 for the holiday weekend. J made haroset, a traditional Jewish dish that we eat around Passover.

It’s made from apples, honey, spices, wine, raisins, and chopped pecans. J made it from the general idea off instagram and measuring the ingredients “with her heart”. It worked out great coz it was delicious and will only get better as it sits and mellows.

I stopped at the store on the way up here to grab some matzoh so we can have a bit of Passover. I’m still more “ish” than Jewish, but there are definitely some treats I love. Like matzo ball soup!

I am… I got through today at work, though I didn’t get everything done that I wanted to. But I will never be ‘caught up’. The workload is just immense and I am just one me.

But it’s whatever. I’m going to enjoy what may be my last weekend with my friends for a long while and help them get ready for their own next adventure.

I’m for a book, my meds, and bed.

Take your meds, folks.
