13,709 Days Alive
2 Boxes of Books Unpacked
Today was my first day at the home store. They do things completely different than how I had been trained, so there’s a bit of an adjustment period to be expected.
My store manager’s nickname is Groucho. And yes, I’m serious. I have a coworker who is a little, tiny baby queer. Not yet twenty, Ashe is non-binary like me, but uses they/them. They’re adorable and I hope to be a good manager for them.
I’m going to have to get used to writing schedules. It’s not something I’ve done, really, but I’m sure it will be fine.
I really hate getting up early, but I love leaving at two or three p.m. Even if it means I get home wanting a nap or with a headache most days.
I’m exhausted. I’ve been trying to unpack. Got two boxes of books and my coloring books up here in the bedroom. I still need a bunch of stuff to set up my desk. Mostly a laptop stand, a file folder, and pen management devices. I’ve got so. Many. Pens.
Anyway. I’m going to go read.
Take your meds, folks.
