1 New Mini Figure Received!

The mini-figure for my Pathfinder character, Haruhi Hitlock, arrived today! She’s a crack shot Strix, an owl person, who looks awesome.

So, I graduated from my work training class today. My scores are still pretty damn good. I start my on-site facility training next week, which I’m looking forward to. I met this awesome nerdy gal in my training class, Vee. We’ve been texting and messaging at work and after work today. Vee is a really cool person and as note-taking-inclined as I am! We shared notes on Teams at work with each other so we both did pretty well on the request logging today. Mathematically, my accuracy is 13% higher than the company average in training, which I am quite proud of!

We are playing Pathfinder tonight. So many dungeon tiles! I just did 22 points of slashing damage to Zombie #2. Who hoo! He only had seven hit points left so he’s extra dead now! I hate zombies. What’s dead should stay dead.

I’ve spent most of the evening, once we got home from dinner, crocheting. I’ve been working on Junior’s Blanket for most of the week when not at work. Currently, I’m working on row twenty-eight of who-the-hell-knows how many. Probably at least 99, I think. I’ll have to take measurements once I get rows twenty-eight through thirty done to see where I’m at width-wise.

I’m hoping to get some writing done this weekend. Fanfic or original writings, I’m not sure which to focus on; but I will get some writing done this weekend. And some laundry. Because having work clothes to wear is super important.

I finally have a mini figurine for my Friday night Pathfinder game that Mellon serves as Dungeon Master at. That character is named Jaylin Underhill and is a human rogue with a pretty damn good dueling sword. It does one d8+4 slashing damage on a regular success, (one d8+4+one d6) times two damage on a critical success. I did some pretty good damage on that zombo earlier, so I’m happy with that.

Spock will be thirteen on the first, which is Monday. I can’t believe my little fuzz ass will be a teenager in human years! He’s an old man in cat years, but still plays and acts like a younger cat when engaged. I’ve noticed he’s been napping a little more, but maybe that’s just because I’ve been sleeping less at night. I’m hoping to score him some fresh tuna or canned tuna for his birthday.

Mentally, I’m a little troubled. Well, I’m worried about affording my meds. Since I can’t get my insulin, I’m wondering if I’m going to struggle with anything else this month. I really hope not. Hopefully, all will be well soon. I just need a living wage full paycheck. So by the twelfth everything should be better.

Anyway, I’m off to help finish the dungeon. And then medicate, meditate, and get to sleep.

Take your meds, folks.
